IMPORTANT: Legacy and Next Generation Thunderstone remotes and keypads are not cross-compatible. When upgrading a legacy Thunder 7000 system, both the keypad and remote must be replaced. This kit includes both required Next Generation components.

The Thunder 103817 Next Generation Thunder 7000 Keypad & Remote Kit provides a complete control upgrade for Thunder 7000 systems. It includes the 103802 Next Generation Thunder Tarp Keypad and 103811 Next Generation Standard Remote, matched for use together.

Legacy System Compatibility

• Legacy and Next Generation Thunderstone remotes and keypads are NOT cross-compatible.
• A Next Generation remote will not work with a legacy keypad.
• A Next Generation keypad will not work with a legacy remote.
• When upgrading a legacy Thunder 7000 system, both components must be upgraded together.
• The 103817 kit includes both the compatible keypad and remote needed for the upgrade.
•  Next Generation Thunderstone parts are identified by 6-digit part numbers.

Service Information

The remote-to-keypad pairing process has changed with the Next Generation system. Refer to the current Thunderstone owner’s manual for pairing instructions.
