Thunder 103811 Next Generation Standard Remote

IMPORTANT: The Thunder 103811 Next Generation Remote is not compatible with a legacy Thunderstone keypad. If your system uses legacy controls, both the remote and keypad must be upgraded using the appropriate Next Generation retrofit kit.

The Thunder 103811 Next Generation Standard Remote replaces the discontinued Thunder 102810 Standard Remote and is designed for Thunderstone’s Next Generation control system.

The upgraded remote features a 1,000+ ft operating range, two-way communication, improved durability, and IP69-rated protection against dust and water. It is also saltwater and chemical resistant and tested for operation in temperatures from -40°F to 140°F.

Legacy System Compatibility

• Legacy and Next Generation Thunderstone remotes and keypads are NOT cross-compatible.
• If your system currently uses the older 102810 remote with a legacy keypad, the new 103811 remote will not work with that keypad.
• To upgrade a legacy Thunder 7000 system, replace both the remote and keypad using the 103817 Next Generation Thunder 7000 Keypad & Remote Kit.
• 103802 – Next Generation Thunder Tarp Keypad is the compatible standalone keypad for use with the 103811 remote.
• Next Generation Thunderstone components are identified by 6-digit part numbers.

Service Information

The remote-to-keypad pairing process has changed with the Next Generation system. Refer to the current Thunderstone owner’s manual for pairing instructions.
